Terms and Conditions
§1 Conclusion of Contract:
Booking (travel registration) can be made orally, by phone, in writing, by fax, or via the Internet and is binding for the guest as well as for the hotel. Offers are subject to availability until the contract is concluded. A hotel accommodation contract is concluded with a booking. The contracting parties are the hotel and the guest. If a third party makes the booking for the guest, he is jointly and severally liable with the guest to the hotel for all obligations arising from the contract. Regardless of this, each booker is obliged to forward all booking-relevant information, especially these General Terms and Conditions, to the guest.
§2 Hotel Prices, Rooms:
The hotel prices are per person and day. The prices include the statutory value-added tax, the breakfast buffet, and the use of parking spaces on the property. All rooms are equipped with a shower, toilet, SAT color TV, and internet access via W-Lan (own notebook required). Prices are subject to change.
§3 Bookings:
Booking of certain room categories is possible. We reserve the right to request specific room numbers and floors. Your reservation is guaranteed until 7:00 pm. Please discuss a later arrival with us. Otherwise, the room may be assigned to someone else after 7:00 pm, and you cannot derive any claims for compensation from this.
§4 Check-In and Check-Out:
Please plan that the room will be ready for you from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the room is available until 10:00 am.
§5 Pick-Up Service:
For arrivals by train, we will gladly pick you up (as time allows) and your luggage from the nearest train station.
Oybin Train Station: approx. 2.0 km = 10.00 €
Zittau Train Station: approx. 15 km = 25.00 €
§6 Payment:
Cash, EC card with own PIN
Please note that we do not accept credit cards in our house!
§7 City Tax:
Is levied all year round by the municipality of Oybin and will be charged separately.
§8 Dogs/Small Animals:
The bringing of dogs and other pets is only allowed by prior arrangement.
§9 Price List:
With the publication of a new price list, all previous prices lose their validity. The statutory value-added tax rate applies.
§10 Travel Cancellation Cost Insurance:
Cancellation sounds unpleasant, for you as well as for us. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance! This insurance protects you
1.) against cancellation costs if you cannot start the trip for an insured reason and
2.) if you have to cancel the trip for an important reason. Therefore, we recommend our guests to take out inexpensive travel cancellation insurance. This way, in case of cancellation or interruption of the holiday due to reasons such as illness, accident, or unemployment, you will be reimbursed for financial losses. ERV is Europe's largest insurance company in the field of travel cancellation, and due to its favorable rates, it is recommended.
§11 Cancellation:
Cancellation of your room reservation is possible at any time. To avoid misunderstandings, it is recommended to declare the cancellation in writing. The cut-off date is the receipt of the cancellation with us. Cancellation costs are calculated as follows:
Free of charge up to 40 days before arrival
50% of the travel price 30 days before arrival
100% of the travel price from 10 days before arrival (minus saved expenses). No cancellation costs will be charged if we are able to rent out the room during the relevant period.
§12 Liability:
For items brought in, we are liable according to legal regulations. Liability claims expire if you do not report loss, destruction, or damage immediately upon becoming aware of it.
§13 Parking:
The provision of a parking space on our property does not create a custody contract. There is no obligation to monitor on our part. We are not liable for the loss or damage to parked or maneuvered motor vehicles and their contents. Compensation claims are excluded.
§14 Messages, Mail, Parcels, and Lost Property:
Upon request and for a fee, we are happy to forward them. Compensation claims are excluded. We are entitled to hand over items left behind to the local lost property office after a storage period of at most one month.
§15 No Smoking:
There is an unconditional smoking ban in all rooms and hallways of the building.
§16 Final Provisions:
Changes or additions to these terms and conditions by the guest are ineffective. Place of performance and payment is Oybin/Hain. German law applies. If individual provisions of these terms and conditions for hotel and pension accommodation are or become ineffective or void, this does not affect the effectiveness of the remaining provisions. In all other respects, statutory regulations apply.
These terms and conditions are based on the "Travel Conditions for Hotels and Pensions" and are considered customary.
In the terms and conditions, the contractual relationship between the tenant and the landlord is regulated. By making a written booking via mail, email, or through our reservation form, you acknowledge our terms and conditions.
